[Rochester, UK,\u00a0 3rd August, 2026] \u2014\u00a0Crystal Display Systems Limited (CDS), a specialist provider of industrial displays, touchscreens, control electronics and customised display solutions, today announced that it has purchased the assets of Munich-based Display & Control (D&C).<\/p>

The transaction combines complementary technical expertise with a shared focus on technically demanding industrial applications. D&C has developed strong expertise in customised displays, LCD-TFT control solutions, scaler and interface boards, embedded technologies, and hardware and software development. These capabilities will complement CDS\u2019s established product portfolio, engineering resources, supply-chain infrastructure and international customer base.<\/p>

For CDS, the purchase represents a significant step in its European growth strategy. It will provide a stronger commercial and technical platform for serving customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while enabling closer local engagement with German-speaking OEMs, systems integrators and industrial technology businesses. Customers will benefit from access to a broader range of display, touch, control and embedded solutions, supported by expanded technical knowledge and the service-led approach for which CDS is known.<\/p>

The transaction is intended to preserve and build on the technical value associated with D&C\u2019s assets while creating a route to wider markets and additional resources. CDS expects the integration of these assets to generate opportunities for cross-selling, collaborative product development, improved sourcing and more comprehensive support throughout the product lifecycle\u2014from initial concept and display selection to control electronics, integration and production.<\/p>
